The hillsides and fields in San Luis Obispo are filled with wild flowers right now and make the most beautiful backdrop for portrait sessions. This sweet girl is about to finish her 8th grade year and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to do an 8th grade session with her in the wild flowers. It's such a big transition, for both her and her parents (Hello, almost high schooler!) so it's the perfect excuse for her own little portrait session.
Gianna has a big heart and is just simply one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Her giggles are the best and she has the most beautiful smile. Her sweet personality just shines through. You can't help but smile when you're around her. I was gushing over her. Mom was gushing over her (and quite possibly feeling all the feels at how grown up her baby is looking). I was so excited for this session. I was cheering, squealing, and jumping up and down. Did I mention I'm a great hype woman? It was a lot of fun!
There's something pretty special about capturing the milestone moments of your child's life. The photos serve as markers for these big life transitions, but more importantly it freezes this moment. Sometimes it feels like you blink and then your kiddos aren't so small anymore. But now mom and dad will always have these photos and this moment of their sweet girl.
