I am just gushing over these engagement photos from Anabel & Oscar’s session at Woodward Park! These two have been together for almost four years and got engaged back in the spring. I've known Oscar for quite some time. He just happens to be the twin brother of one of my best friends, Gloria (just a couple of blog post back). I was so happy when Anabel and Oscar got engaged and then I was freaking out when Anabel asked if I would capture their wedding! Um, YES please!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Anabel last spring when I did an extended family session for the whole family. Anabel is funny, sweet and feisty. She’s fits right in! Gloria adores her and has waited oh so patiently for a sister to join the family. Needless to say Anabel has become a fast friend and I love it!
This engagement session has been months in the making. What was originally going to be a session on the coast quickly got delayed because, well Covid. And honestly it all worked out. The location they chose is one of my favorites right now with the hillsides and warm colored grass. See how I said warm and not dead grass. It's a dream to photograph in. Back to the session, we made our way to the dirt trails. The light was perfect! Anabel and Oscar have two beautiful fur babies and I'm not sure who was more excited about the trails, them or me. Of course we had to get a few with the fur babies and then we sent them off so we could focus on just the happy couple.
I’m so excited for these two! Oscar is one lucky man to have Anabel in his life. I can't wait for these two to start their lives together. I just hope I can be patient enough for their wedding next year. Congratulations Anabel & Oscar!
