The weather was a sunny 71 degrees on the day of Marissa and Chris' wedding at Chêne Vineyards in Arroyo Grande, California. The house is perched up on a little hillside surrounded by olive trees and picturesque views of vineyards. It was perfect for Marissa and Chris' intimate wedding.
Every detail of the day was handcrafted by close family and friends. From the centerpieces to florals that lined the aisle. The beautiful arch they stood under for their ceremony was made by Marissa's step-dad. It provided the perfect backdrop as they exchanged vows in front of their closest family and friends.
Their bridal party included Marissa's step-sister, Chris' two daughters, his two brothers and of course the cutest little groomsman of all, their son. These two truly were surrounded by so much love and family on their special day. One of my favorite moments was when Marissa's dad got to see her right before her and Chris shared their first look. Marissa's mom watched from the open window. There was not a dry eye! It pulled at ALL the heart strings! Maybe it's because I had a flash forward moment to my husband and daughter sharing a moment like this.
Chris and Marissa are such a fun couple and they seriously compliment each other so well. The way they make each other laugh you can't help but laugh and smile with them. She burst into laughter a few times during the ceremony and everyone laughed right along with her. She was beaming with joy the whole day! You can just feel how much these two love each other.
Marissa and Chris, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I wish you both love, happiness, and joy as you share this journey together with your little family. Congratulations to you both!
