The setting at Montana de Oro was perfect for Lindsay & Jason’s maternity session. I’ll admit I was a little nervous because the fog had been rolling in a few days prior, but the sun was out and the fog stayed away… Yay! June gloom is a real thing here on the coast.
Can we all just agree on how cute Lindsay is! At 36 weeks, she was absolutely glowing. So much cuteness from her hat to her shoes. And that LBD that hugged her cute pregnant belly. She totally rocked her maternity session!
This wasn’t the first time I photographed these two. About a month before their session, I photographed Lindsay’s sister’s wedding. Lindsay was so great to work with then (I absolutely adore her sister & her family) that I couldn’t pass up the chance to capture this moment for them. One of my biggest regrets is not having a maternity session done while we was pregnant with our daughter. It wasn’t really something that expecting parents were doing at the time, but looking back I so wish we had images of that time. So if you're on the fence about whether or not to have a maternity session, I say go for it!
The way these two looked at each other and how excited they were to meet their little guy just shined through. This is such a special season in their lives and I’m honored that I was able to capture it for them. Now we just need this sweet little babe to arrive.
